I'm Rob, a freelance videographer based in Somerset, I’ve been shooting from the air and the ground for 18 years.
I grew up on a farm in Devon, studied film production, then spent years figuring out what good video actually looks like by making it for everyone from Lush Cosmetics to global giants like Knight Frank, Google, and Meta. Somewhere in there I also directed a documentary for Channel 4, and a short film I shot and shared myself crowdfunded over £80,000 for it before it even aired.
That's the mix I bring to Somerset: big brand polish, without the big agency price tag or the ten people on a call before anyone picks up a camera. Just an experienced pair of hands, a drone, and a genuine love of making things look good.

Video Production in Somerset
If you need video content that looks like it came from a proper production but without hiring a whole crew, that's where I come in. I shoot and edit everything myself, which means one point of contact, no handoff between a separate camera operator and editor, and no agency mark-up sitting between you and the work.
This covers brand films, social content (short-form and long-form), product video, corporate and internal comms video, and event coverage. Clients range from small local businesses who need a first proper video presence to larger brands needing a fast, self-contained crew for a single day's filming.
What's included: pre-shoot planning call, filming with professional camera and audio kit, and a full edit (if required) — colour graded, simple motion graphics, sound mixed, ready to publish.
Your Questions, Answered
Do you offer larger teams for bigger productions?
Most of what you see here is me, one experienced pair of hands, keeping things fast and cost-effective. If a project needs more than that (multiple cameras, a full crew, a bigger production budget), I run it through my studio, New Fruit Productions, so it gets the right resourcing without you having to go and find a separate agency.
How quickly can I get my content?
I can hand it to you and the end of the shoot or send it via We-transfer the morning after the shoot.
Do you do Photography aswell?
Yes I do, from the air and the ground, I am though a filmmaker first and so whilst my stills camera is very decent I would not put myself forward to shoot high end fashion or product photography!
